Unity version
What the Unity version already has beyond the web game, according to the game repository:
Execution: nearly dead elites and bosses stagger and can be executed with each hero’s cinematic finishing blow (F, RB on a gamepad or the EXECUTE button on mobile).
Void Implosion, a new Unity-exclusive weapon: a well that pulls in the horde and bursts in a ring.
Visual overhaul: lightning, ice and fire weapons remade, ultimates with charge, peak and fade, a signature dash per hero, maps with their own weather and real torch and candle light.
A layered parallax menu with castle, mist, lightning and a giant Reaper; hero selection as an animated showcase.
A living interface: cards that deal in one by one and burst when picked, health that drains slowly, a summary that counts up the numbers.
Energized attack telegraphs, impacts with shockwaves and dust, enemy projectiles with their own identity and dramatic boss entrances.
Boss Rush arenas with their own atmosphere and Stage Mode rules drawn into the world: mire, nooses, stalactites, stained glass.
An original adaptive score: 18 tracks and 9 stingers composed in code, with layers that grow with the danger.
New sounds for weapons, ultimates, dashes and thunder, plus looping ambiences for every map.
Co-op on a dedicated C# server running the same simulation as the game, with death cam and spectating (the server is not live yet).
Mobile: Android build, touch controls, automatic quality and an interface fitted to notched screens.
Performance: the simulation runs about 6 times faster with large hordes.

Version 6.1.0
CI: automatic approval of the repository owner’s pull requests
Fix (CI): invalid YAML in the owner approval workflow
New: locked zoom with 2 zoom-out steps, bigger map objects and a medieval minimap
Balance: 3x fewer mobs, bosses every 3:30 and a dash for every hero
Version 6.0.0
Much more stable co-op: players joining on weaker connections (bad Wi-Fi, 4G, ADSL) no longer build up seconds of delay — and the host no longer feels the others’ lag
Smoother online movement: other players and enemies no longer teleport or jitter when the network wobbles, and your character responds instantly when you change direction
More FPS: the interface and the allies panel got much lighter, especially in co-op and on weaker computers; on low quality enemy shadows are turned off for extra headroom
Balance (co-op): at the end of a run the total of living enemies now caps at 900 (it used to exceed 1,500 with 4 players), keeping the same spawn pace
Fixed: at the start of a co-op run the host sometimes saw allies with no name and no character
Fixed: after an update, the new character art sometimes did not show for returning players
Version 5.0.0
A new medieval look: screens, menus and HUD redesigned in a gothic mood, with new visual effects for boss, weapon and hero attacks
Bosses and elites got new abilities, every hero now has an ultimate (Space), there are new weapon evolutions and map events such as the Blood Moon and the Storm
New sign-in screen: sign in with Google, create an account with email and password or play as a guest
Lyra, the Arcanist, with a new look in the medieval theme
Fixed: runs no longer vanish from the leaderboard when the session expires, in co-op or through an anti-cheat mistake
Version 4.2.0
Fixed: the Unburied’s ring attack now shows its visual warning correctly.
Fixed: survival achievements now only count the current run’s time.
New: pause by vote in co-op. Press ESC to start a vote.
Balance (co-op): fewer enemies and an adjusted Plague Bearer scaling during boss fights.
Balance (co-op): bosses no longer get the 2× health bonus; they now use per-player scaling only.
Version 4.1.0
Leaderboard reset: now that the night got tougher, the main board opens a new chapter — everyone competes from zero, on equal footing, without mixing times from before and after the rebalance
New Legends tab: the champions of the previous era are immortalized in a separate hall of fame — whoever was at the top stays honored forever, even with the new board running
Version 4.0.0
Bestiary: every creature you defeat joins a collection that keeps your kills and reveals who is who in the underworld — and progress there grants permanent bonuses that strengthen your next runs
Achievements: dozens of challenges in four tiers — bronze, silver, gold and platinum — to chase; some grant titles you show on the leaderboard and rewards when unlocked
Endless Mode revamped: after securing the victory the night goes on and each cycle adds a global modifier — Current, Carapace, Venom, Swarm, Frenzy or Fury — stacking the challenge instead of just throwing more bosses on screen
A new boss rises: The Unburied arrives to close the journey with a fight worthy of the end of the night
New character: Tor, the Brawler, with all-new art — visuals that follow the direction of movement and an animated attack
Stats panel: see where every number of your character comes from — class, passives, relics and bestiary — from the menu or mid-run. Bestiary and Achievements also got a shortcut in the main menu
Bosses rebalanced: health tuned for a better solo pace and, in co-op, it grows more fairly with the group, without becoming a damage sponge — plus a new visual touch when pausing
Version 3.1.0
We now measure how many people play and on which platforms, to know where to invest effort — these are aggregate audience numbers, with no name, email, login or free text, and nothing is used for ads
Version 3.0.0
A new merchant mid-run: he shows up on the map selling relics — items that last the whole run and open new builds. You can reroll the stock for gold, but choose well: relic slots are limited
Revamped options menu with controls and audio tabs — now with separate sliders for master volume, music and effects, in the pause menu and the main menu
An even more personal HUD: weapons and passives became separate panels you can move, resize and rotate in HUD editing — and the potion icon shows the key you configured
Lighter, more stable co-op: match data travels compressed and lean, using less bandwidth and stuttering less — most noticeable in the busiest, most chaotic matches
More privacy on the leaderboard: your public profile uses an anonymous code (nothing from your Google account is exposed), and sending runs to the leaderboard became more reliable, with no risk of losing a record
Entering a wrong room code no longer kicks you out of your current room — the code is checked before you leave
Version 2.1.0
The game opens in half the time: the loading screen practically disappeared
Starting a run got lighter, and the screen stutters less mid-game
The game uses far less bandwidth to load — mobile players and anyone away from Wi-Fi will feel it right on the first screen
Same music, it just downloads quickly now instead of taking a while
Version 2.0.0
A safety net against fatal blows: at 80% health or more, a single attack cannot take you down for good — you are left at 1 health with a moment of invulnerability to react
Configurable controls: a new menu lets you remap the game keys your way
Breathing room after the bomb: when a bomb detonates, the common horde pauses for ~2.5 s before spawning again — time to reposition
Stronger orbs from the start: the base area went up to the equivalent of the Amplitude passive at level 3
The Imperishable regenerates less health (3.5%) — the race against the lich’s healing got fairer
Smoother game: rendering optimized behind the scenes (fewer allocations per frame, restructured HUD and caches) — fewer hitches when the screen fills up
Version 1.8.0
New evolution: the Orb now becomes Orbital Shards — each spinning orb fires a radial volley of icy shards (requires the Speed passive)
A fairer late-game horde: when many shooters aim at you, they space out their shots instead of firing endless projectiles — dodging became a game again, not luck (especially in co-op, where the chaos was worse)
Projectile volleys no longer all fire at once — shooters space out their shots, so the horde does not release a synchronized wall at once
Balance: Blizzard (the Frost Shard evolution) lasts 3 s instead of 4.5 s — the freeze stays strong but does not hold the horde too long
Version 1.7.0
Frost Shard now evolves into Blizzard (with the Magnetism passive): magnetic ice fields pull the horde to the center, hurt based on enemy health and freeze lightly
Nix, the Collector, more rewarding: picking up gems nonstop builds Greed, which turns into damage (up to +30%) — stop collecting and the bonus cools off, so keep the combo going
Bigger characters and monsters on screen: the art stands out more and feet now stay firmly on the ground, without that slight float over the shadow
Anonymous balance statistics behind the scenes (no name, email, login or free text) to fine-tune difficulty — with a button to turn them off whenever you want
Version 1.6.0
Titan and Chaos Overlord with new art: the ember stone colossus and the demon lord who closes the run, now turning in 8 directions with an animated attack
The whole horde redone in pixel art: the elites Shredder and Abyssal and the monsters Bomber, Fallen Knight and Plague Bearer got their own art — no enemy uses the old look anymore
Version 1.5.1
Responsive HUD: it now adjusts to the screen size on its own, and you can reposition and resize the panels in the HUD editor
Mages and brutes with new art, and every spell got a color by type — you can read the threat in the middle of the horde at a glance
New game icon in the browser tab: a crimson pixel-art moon
Smoother movement and camera, with a batch of fluidity fixes
Lighter game when the screen fills up: rendering eases off details under heavy load and gems were optimized — fewer hitches in the horde
Sturdier co-op: the server handles message spikes without making the match stutter
The bomb no longer clutters the damage and kills-by-weapon screens — it only shows where it makes sense
Version 1.5.0
Global Leaderboard and My Profile screens with a fresh look
Bomb drops now follow enemy density — the bigger the horde, the more bombs
Version 1.4.3
NEW boss at 25 minutes: The Imperishable, a lich who heals through his phylactery — kill him faster than he regenerates. At 30, he returns as a DUO with the Void Beast
Reaper with new art: hooded Death in person, swinging the scythe with every attack
Fallen with new art: the corrupted angel who summons the meteor shower got a face (and black wings)
The health potion can now be used with the C key or by clicking its icon
The run progress bar shows when each boss will arrive (hover to see who)
Upgrade cards show the weapon’s real in-game damage, not the table value
Enemy projectiles got their own look — easier to see what hurts in the middle of the horde
Lighter game: rendering optimizations and staged loading — fewer hitches and a faster boot
Damage effects consistent at any FPS
Co-op fixes (orbs with phantom speed) and for the soundtrack not playing on some installs
Version 1.4.2
Scenes with many enemies and light effects now run much more smoothly
Health regeneration rebalanced: high-health builds now heal at the same pace as frailer ones
Endless mode no longer freezes after long sessions — memory is now recycled as you progress
Version 1.4.1
Bat with new art: a real flying bat, turning toward where it flies
Zombie with new art, animated in 8 directions
Runner with new art and a running cycle
Crusher with new art and a 1.5x bigger attack cone — replaces the Scorcher in the elite rotation
Nix, the Collector, with new directional art and an animated attack
Bruna, the Guardian, with new directional art and an animated attack
XP potions no longer stall at the max level — they keep stacking and the level keeps going up
Version 1.4.0
Version tag shown on screen
Upgrade cards now show the max level
Reroll upgrades on level-up (up to 3 per run)
New orb sprite and fix for the doubled ring
Respawn invincibility blocks all damage and blinks during the effect (co-op)
The lobby no longer flickers when changing character or marking ready
Character sprites redrawn and a new hero selection screen
Global leaderboard with Google sign-in, history, seasons, profile and activity feed
Elite monsters: 5 rare hunters with telegraphed attacks from the start
Fix: elite health bar did not show in co-op
A recurring detonation zone under each player every 1 minute
More wave variety: 4 new monsters in the mid/late game
Mage buff: Arcane Bolt now ricochets between enemies
Fix: old records had disappeared from the leaderboard
Co-op room invite link: copy it in the lobby and join with 1 click
Level-up with keys 1/2/3 in solo (and R to reroll)
Boss: health shown only on the HUD bar, with a reddened screen while it is alive
Full end-of-run metrics: damage, healing, items and kills by ability
Elites now spawn closer to the players
Boss health scales linearly with the number of players in co-op
Deadlier bosses: +40% damage, faster attacks and fury below 30% health
New status effect system (burn, chill, shock) and the Frost Shard weapon with the ice element
Security and anti-cheat improvements in co-op mode
Performance improvement on the damage flash
HUD: FPS and ping shown in the lower-left corner
Multi-language support: Portuguese, English and Spanish
Mute/unmute audio option in the pause menu
Fix: Google sign-in did not refresh during a run, causing disconnections
