What is kept in your browser
The site only keeps interface preferences in the browser’s local storage (localStorage). They are never sent to any server:
| Name | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
nf-locale |
Remember the language you picked in the selector | Until you clear the site data |
nf-visited |
Know you have visited before, so you are not redirected by browser language again | Until you clear the site data |
This storage is essential for the language selector to work and stays on your device only.
How to clear it
In your browser settings, clear the “site data” for nightfallsurvivors.com. The site keeps working normally; it will just forget the language you picked.
What about the game?
The classic web game, shut down on October 5, 2026, kept the save, the session and the anonymous telemetry code in localStorage, and used Google Analytics (which may use Google cookies) when telemetry was on. The details are in the Privacy Policy.
